Next level with levels- HBD to me!

This year (9:10:2025), my birthday wasn’t a big party or a fancy outing, it was something simple, but honestly, it turned out so beautiful. I didn't even expect it but it was more like a surprise.

I started my day by thanking the Lord for a whole 365 days of no short comings. I started remembering all the goodness of God in my life and it made me shade tears of happiness. His mercy kept me because I knew I was not worthy at all. Well, after that, I found myself in the kitchen making pepper soup.

I don’t know why, but cooking on my birthday has never been my thing but it happened that I had to do it, although there was this joy it gave me while I danced to my music as I cook. The smell of the spices filled the whole house, and I could already tell it was going to be a good day. While stirring the pot, I kept smiling and thanking God quietly for another year of life, good health, and the people I have around me, especially my friend ans sister who made sure the bday was a success.

Later on, she took me out to buy some cakes and ice cream. It wasn’t anything loud or showy, but it made me feel so loved. We laughed a lot, shared stories, and enjoyed our little treats like two happy kids. That moment reminded me that birthdays are not always about big crowds or expensive gifts, sometimes it’s about the small, thoughtful things that make your heart warm.

When we got back home, we took a moment to pray. We thanked God for the new year ahead, and it felt peaceful. After that, we turned on some music and danced around, just having fun. No cameras, no pressure, just joy, movement, and laughter. We ate more food and made some short videos for memory sake.

At the end of the day, I sat quietly, thinking about how the day went. It wasn’t loud, but it was full of happiness. I felt so grateful for life, for love, for friendship, and even for that bowl of pepper soup that started it all.

Sometimes, it’s the simple birthdays that stay in your heart the longest.
