It's my pleasure to partake in this contest organized by this community. Being responsible is necessary because they always work towards the promises they make. Here is my contribution to the title above.

What does being responsible mean to you?

Being responsible gives us the ability to control and make decisions that favor each and every one of us. Responsible persons are always reliable and trustworthy. They are likely to keep the secrets of third parties. A responsible husband takes good care of his family by ensuring quality of life for the kids and his wife. As the head of the family, the husband takes full responsibility for paying his children's school fees and providing shelter and food.

A responsible person addresses problems peacefully so that they will not affect others involved in the process. They are always honest and develop a certain level of maturity, making them respectable human beings in the community. They do not inconvenience others to the extent that it would cause harm to their lives.

What are some ways you can be more responsible in your daily life?

Sometimes being a responsible person can be difficult at first, but if we continue doing it, it will improve our life positively. We should take care of ourselves and our loved ones so that being responsible can become our second nature.

• Take proper hygiene: It's our responsibility to clean ourselves. We must clean dirty places without expecting anyone to help. Wash dirty plates and sweep your surroundings because you may have unexpected visitors.

• Always tell the truth: Truth is important, no matter the situation. Small lies can destroy relationships, so try to avoid them as much as possible. Being honest will show how responsible you are. Telling lies has ruined many things and can lead to serious consequences.

• Set goals: The major thing that must come to mind of the responsible person is how to achieve their goals, which include both short-term and long-term goals. It's necessary to write them down and know some strategies you can use to accomplish those plans.

• Find solutions to the problem: It's our responsibility to look for solutions rather than blaming others for their mistakes. Seek advice from other people by sitting together to solve the problems they are facing. Gather enough information to guide you all through.

What happens when someone isn't responsible?

Irresponsible human beings are considered as people who are immature. They are not respected in the community because people will not trust them any longer, and it can also damage the reputation we have been built for a long time. Another thing is that they are lazy humans who do not like to work towards achieving success. Sometimes they neglect issues that need urgent attention, and if these matters are left unattended, they may result in major risks that we are not able to bear.

They also develop a self-interest habit, always thinking about themselves without considering others in decision-making. Additionally, irresponsible human beings lack confidence, which can affect different aspects of our lives. Not taking full responsibility can result in missing opportunities based on our achievements or personal growth.

What are some good things that come from being responsible?

A person who are responsible are normally increase in their productivity, which will eventually yield more benefits in return. People who are responsible are valued most in society, and some also invite them to participate in community development because they are capable of handling any community project without bias.

They always feel more comfortable when telling the truth so that matters can be resolved amicably. Being responsible at work gives the organization better results, especially in the areas of progress and growth. Additionally, responsible individuals are well-organized, perform effectively, and always achieve high performance, which contributes to the growth of the organization or any agency they work for.
