Steem on Joe Rogan

I listen to the Joe Rogan Experience almost daily while working in the office or my studio - and when the conversation of Episode #1079 veered into crypto-currency I wasn’t shocked. After all - the first time I heard of Bitcoin was his show a few years ago.

BUT they specifically brought up Steem and the unique concept of Steemit.com.

If you know anything about the meteoric rise of Jordan Peterson or Randall Carlson or Graham Hancock or Ketogenic Dieting ... or a number of things currently rambling about in the Zeitgeist — then you are at least partially experiencing “The Joe Rogan Effect”

The effect named for the wave of interest focused on certain human beings, ideas, or institutions that results from being mentioned (or especially featured) on his ridiculously successful podcast. It is conservatively estimated that he gets 90 million downloads per month ... and similar numbers of YouTube views! He is a phenomenon!

...and he just Mentioned Steem. This is a very good thing - because literally tens of millions of folks who never heard of it — just heard of it. The effect could be fantastic (at least I’m hoping - since I’ve been invested since September!)

So let’s hope his interest was piqued - and that it comes up again ... so we can all retire in palatial estates on exotic tropical islands.
