Bittrex Withdrawals to STEEM Network Have Only 70% Success Rate
Now that STEEM trading has climbed to about 200 BTC/day on Bittrex, transferring STEEM back and forth between the STEEMIT internal exchange and Bittrex is crucial to:
(a) stabilizing the price
(b) attracting more traders and liquidity
(c) boosting the price
(d) keeping prices in line throughout the STEEM ecosystem
Unfortunately, only 7/10 (70%) Bittrex withrawals completed successfully... while 3/10 (30%) are "pending" many hours later. THey have no tx ID so have not been sent anywhere. And they CANNOT BE CANCELLED. This must be happening to scores of people... and I would like Bittrex to address this as a general matter.
This applies to outgoing Bittrex withrawals only, all other STEEM transfers have been successful
(PS. I've been trading with Bittrex for 2-3 years and am very experienced with moving crypto around. I could simply open a ticket, but this problem must be widespread).
I think you should file a ticket. Maybe bittrex is not aware of this problem.
The steemd daemon has an issue with it where it stops syncing. When that happens, transfers get stuck unfortunately. I'm in the process of cleaning it up now. Apologies for the delay.

I've had a similar situation with a different coin. BitTrex Support helped me out. So reach out to them.
Hey, within 30 minutes of this post Bitrrex had the STEEM wallet "under maintenance" and the problem was fixed. Thanks to everyone.
