Thanks for your observations, @aggroed! I think it's important to learn all we can from our experiences!

One way to invest a bit over time is to use a Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) strategy. A similar, but more sophisticated strategy is Value Averaging (VA).

Personally, I feel that Steem is still more speculating than investing.
