Like seriously though, it's a problem with newer social media sites, especially within the art posts. I'm not knocking on other's work, but this meme is so true.

Hey man. My thoughts are that its not instagram... i think you need to tell a story with your work or break up the art postings with other stories of your life, art process, art theory maybe.
This is definitely a story I have heard a lot here. Its fair enough if art is your medium... why shpuld you write??? I know a lot of people use bidbots for that reason too.
The other thing is visibility... maybe people arent seeing it. Its easy for it to get lost in the volumes of stuff here. Make sure you join some communities and get on Discord.
You cant beg for upvotes . They happen as you post heaos and engage on the platform.

You need to sign up and create a user name.
Steem communities have Discord groups which you need an invite to join.
Keep engaging with other users that use the same tags as you. It's totally a social media in that way! @vincentofink
