Wow, you should NOT give security advise.
Using notepad to secure password in clear text?!
A 3 years old BitShares wallet that is not compatible with todays blockchain at all...
Buddy.... seriously.

Hey. Typically I would agree with you, but you should understand that people that are already familiar with proper security protocol for the aforementioned coins, wouldn't be reading this article. This article is intended for people that are more likely to lose the password or wallet than have it stolen. This article is intended for people that don't understand how a lost password cant be recovered.

I'm sure you will use keypass. I'm sure you might even use encryption on your usb. This tutorial isn't for you. Thank you for the comment. And understand who is entering these investments Vato. Some people are putting a lot of money in these coins without understanding the relevance of very important tenants.

Do not be so damn dismissive.

Dude you are showing a export routine for a BitShares Blockchain/Client that does not exist anymore!
Since early 2015 we are on BitShares 2.0 not BitSharesX, you haven't done proper research.

And yes, I use Keepass and you should not tell uneducated users to start with Notepad.
If people are at risk to lose their wallet or password because they have no clue what a backup is, they are at even higher risk for social-hack and malware attacks.

I appreciate that you are trying to help but please do not spread false or insecure advice's.
