Lets hope sybil-like self voting doesn't destroy authenticity. Circular upvoting plagues facebook, youtube and other places, where central authorities even use statistics to catch those tricking the system.
Was this natural evolution planned all along? This year has allowed personalities to emerge, such that this new distributed system is now more protected from false movements. Also, there is still an small upward curve to voting power, which continues to encourage using one account.
How are we going to prevent people from simply paying themselves? Well, we'll work on it.
