Oh Come On Steem! We're In This Channel Whole Week!
Take a look at this weekly STEEM price chart:
You can see that STEEM price for the large part of the last week was in a channel: the price fluctuated between $2.20 and $2.67.
Today there was yet another attempt to break out and finally go more towards $3 level buuuut... it failed again and we're back in the channel, despite very high trading volume.
The technical analysis theory says, that the longer the price stays in the channel, the stronger the break out. This will be interesting :)
to be honest, with the bear market, staying in this zone seems quite acceptable to me..

Whole market is falling, people will start losing interest with each passing day, lets hope green days will be back again soon.
Not right now. 2018 downtrend can be the year where cryptos now have the time to build their promised product in the meantime and 2019 can be the year ready for mainstream use
I don't think this downtrend will continue for the whole year, I am expecting bulls to return soon.
I going to say that the uptrend is coming back at the mid year aka summer or towards the end

if they lose interset in crypto they should not be in it. Crypto is about the long term not short term

Hi! Let's do the math ;)
At the moment max @tipU upvote is 2 SBD.
2 / 2.5 = 0.8
If you send 5 SBD, your friend will receive 2 SBD upvote and you will get automatic refund of 4.2 SBD (the 0.8 SBD is the cost of 2 SBD upvote).
Soon @tipU should have more Steem Power so bigger upvotes will be possible.
Keep in mind that sometimes @tipU goes into sleep mode when it recovers voting power - all payments are refunded then but you can still send tips :)

I've seen that it eventually worked. Yesterday steemit was pretty laggy which may affect the service :)
Just curious:
How difficult would it be to write into the app a memo to the person sending the tip acknowledging "Thank you for sending a tip to @soandso." Perhaps, 'pending' could be in the history until the tip is allocated.
This would serve as a notification that the person received the tip, without them having to reply days later that they didn't.
Yours is still one of my favorite apps that I wish had more publicity. Perhaps, Steemit will eventually have SMTs available to tastefully advertise for the different projects of users with Instagram-like fade-ins/outs in some of the 'white space' on the page.

All coins are falling lately. STEEM follows him and nothing is expected to change the situation.
