Great guide!
Two extra tips for users reading the guide:
- Technically the BTC wallet address and memos are all public. The transactions will all be publicly viewable on the Bitcoin and Steem blockchains. What is not public are your private keys and passwords. Do not share these :)
- It is not uncommon for the BTC transactions to take a while to confirm. 5 minutes is actually pretty fast. There are some links in the Steemit FAQ page that can be used to estimate how long it will take to confirm.
