5 Reasons to keep steeming despite the sinking steem price | Steem is Priceless

Green greetings Steemians,
Today, @mr-greens will begin reminiscing some five very kool reasons why you need to keep steeming despite the sinking steem price

Reason #1: Priceless Networking

I started steeming and will continue to steem forever despite the fall in Steem prices because of the meaningful connections, superb relationships and excellent networks we have built with steemians and organizations on the Steem blockchain. These relationships are worth more than gold and are greatly contributing to heal the world and make it a better place for all.
This year made 10 years ever since I started Facebooking. It’s true that I have networked and made some great connections on Facebook and other social networks but the kind of connections I (@mr-greens) have made on Steem in less two years, are better than my 10 years on Facebook.
Some of @thegreens and I (@mr-greens) personal networking achievements with steemians and organizations on the steem blockchain include being able to connect with great minds and change-makers like @pennsif and @adollaraday @chrisaiki and @solarcoach @eco-alex and @ecotrain @dynamicgreentk and @dynamicsteemians @raserrano @indigoocean @martin-mikes @tribesteemup, @gogreenbuddy @impactn @informationwar @artemislives @fundition @canadian-coconut @likedeeler and it seems just everyone on Steem is very supportive and beautiful.
I think it’s very difficult to find these kind of people on Facebook and other social networks.
Some of the things we have been able to do with the amazing support of steemians include;

Create the Steemit Literacy Center that trained over 40 persons and inspired them to join the Steem blockchain
With @fundition and amazing steemians, we have been able to raise funds to effectively educate and engage over 40 children and youths to become Earth Rangers
With @fundition, @adollaraday and Steemians of goodwill, we have been ablve to acquire machines for our textile recycling and fashion designing hub that is training women and girls for free
and many more.

I really want to appreciate @martin-mikes for introducing me to steem.
It’s Steemians that inspire me to steem and I will continue to steem because of the wonderful and supportive community steemians are creating.
For 5 days, I will blog five reasons why I keep steeming despite the falling steem prices. This is the first reason and don’t forget to stop by for my second reason tomorrow.

The Greens is a grassroots environmental organization that strives to educate, inspire and engage young people to take action to combat climate change and be at the forefront of biodiversity conservation and waste management.

Founded in 2010, @thegreens have been able to use arts, sports, media and ICT to educate and engage more than 10,000 young people in Green Poetry, Green Music, Green Arts, Green Radio, and Conservation Champions League.

Her tree planting programs have seen the organization create 04 Community Tree Nurseries, planted more than 300,000 trees and together with @kedjom-keku we have acquired 1000 hectares of afromontane forest in Kedjom-Keku Village of the Bamenda Highlands of the North West Region of Cameroon for the creation and conservation of Kedjom-Keku Community Forest

@thegreens is currently engaged in Waste Management (Waste Business Hub); Plastic Waste Upcycling, Tire Upcycling and Textile Waste Recycling via @ecodesigns.
Her #EndPlasticPollution Campaign has seen the organization sensitize more than 100,000 people about plastic pollution, upcycled more than 10,000 plastic bottles to create UPB Vertical Gardens, UPB Tree Nursery Pots, etc.

Her Textile Recycling Project (@ecodesigns) is currently training 13 young girls for free in textile recycling and fashion designing and has recycled more than 5000 pounds of textile waste.

Her Tire Upcycling Project is educating and engaging young people in schools and communities to #StopBurningTires and upcycle them to create Mushroom Tire Seats, Tire Flower Pots, etc
