The way I see it is, people need to be protected from themselves and that is the continuing mission of hardforks. Trying to make things work for all and not just the select few.

THe more complexity (many paths) that are available, the more difficult it comes to maximize in total. That way, everyone can have some pros and cons with each of their choices. up until now, the "best" way to earn has been pretty obvious.

There is a long way and many forks to come I hope.
