SwapSteem - A peer to peer Steem and SBD exchange community
Swapsteem is a platform, a community and soon to be launched software that allows Steem users to quickly swap their Steem or SBD with different national fiat currencies.
How to use swapsteem?
Swapsteem is a community, which is slowly getting built over people's trust on the currency and other Steemians. We are just providing a platform to facilitate transfer of funds, goods and services with help of trusted escrow transaction with @swapsteem.
The swap Steem community works very similar to other decentralized exchanges except that you don't have to deposit any funds with us. The users can create a BUY or SELL advertisement as post mentioning
- Amount they are willing to Buy/ Sell
- Rate per Steem/SBD
- Fiat to they want to exchange with
- preferred payment method
- contact details
After creating the post use the tags in following order so that we and other users can find your Advertisements easily.
- Tag 1 Community name - #swapsteem
- Tag 2 Crypto coin - #steem or #sbd
- Tag 3 Fiat currency ( 3 letter ) - #usd / #jpy #inr etc
- Tag 4 Order type - #buy or #sell
Once posted, we will resteem your posts to other users in the community and help you find a matching person who is willing to trade. If anyone is interested to trade with a posted advertisement, he can comment on his post with his offer and contact details.
If the buyer and seller agree to trade, they can initiate the trade with @swapsteem as their escrow agent. The SBD/Steem holder will have to create an escrow transaction using steemconnect or esteem app. More details about escrow with esteem and steemconnect will be provided in the next post, where will provide you a tutorial format post
