I tried to buy some PIVX with steem dollars today, using www.changelly.com and it was easy and pleasant! I say this, because i am a crypto-novice and like many others; would like that you can use steem to buy other cryptocurrencies directly, without have to go through multiple exchanges or the hassle of signing up.
www.blocktrades.us is the easiest in this regard but they don't have PIVX listed yet, however, they are considering having it listed!
How To Buy Pivx Cryptocurrency Directly With Your Steem Or Steem Dollars Using Changelly?
You can get a PIVX wallet address by getting their core wallet here but ofcourse, you can get a PIVX wallet from Bittrex.
If you already have a PIVX wallet address, then 70 percent of the work is done!
This is how to buy PIVX directly with steem or steem dollars:
Simply start buying going to www.changelly.com. I very much think, that you can complete an exchange on @changelly without signing up but in my case i am signed-up.
Then follow the steps in the screenshots below:
1. Select to exchange steem or SBD for PIVX.
2. Select amount of steem or SBD that you want to exchange for PIVX. Don't worry, @changelly does the rest! It tells you the amount of PIVX you will get in return as well as the estimated time that will elapse for you to receive your PIVX to your wallet. In my case, i got my PIVX wallet address from www.bittrex.com.
3. Enter your destination PIVX wallet address as required
4. Comfirm and make payment as required
5. Copy the memo you are provided. The steemit user name for www.changelly.com on steemit is "@changelly"
6. Send payment of steem or SBD amount to @changelly on steemit, with the memo you copied earlier, so that you can track your transfer!
7. Confirm your that your steem or steem dollar transfer to @changelly was successful!
8. Wait for your PIVX in your PIVX wallet!
Hooray! It is now that simple to buy PIVX directly using Steem or Steem Dollars. It is very simple!
If you have PIVX or any other cryptocurrency or altcoin and want to exchange it for steem or steem dollars, it is also very simple. Simply sign up to steemit and your steemit username is your steem wallet address.

Adding pivx to the mix will be good. In reality, on changelly does that direct exchange. and it looks like @pivx just listed them earlier today cos before this post, there is no result showing pivx traded directly against any other currency other than bitcoin. So this is right timing, for @pivx to be on @tradeqwik. i am sure they will be reaching out to you soon!

Well, if you have money to spare, not a bad idea. i wish i knew about pinkcoin. i have heard about pivx and even some steemians see it as good investment as they say it is like dash. i see pink coin is rising coin. i will check them out. i also some good mention of xem. i just tried @changelly again for a small amount of steem to xem and i now have the xem on poloniex.

There is not much about getting pivx directly on the entire net and after i posted, i started seeing google posts saying you have listed pivx. it was just coincidence that i decided to type pivx and saw it there. I am still all novice but i just gave it a test. i also just tried some nem and will check later if i got it already. Overall, this is a start!
