So how many of you would buy STEEM to be able to reward others?
I think this could potentially be a trend...
Right now STEEM power is distributed subjectively from a founder's circle. It will disperse over time, but you can buy into more STEEM power. I think buying STEEM power and using it to reward people could be a trend. People can accumulate STEEM to gain more power to reward others so they can get personalized content and curation to suit their preferences .. Accumulating STEEM power may just be an easy way for people to reward others for a variety of purposes... I guess advertisers could purchase STEEM power as well, but it may not be a cost effective strategy.
Anyone put thought into this? Would you want to buy more STEEM power to reward posts that you like? Who or what organizations do you think would want to buy STEEM power?
I think steem taps really well into peoples tendency to want power. First you partcipate with your 10 STEEM, then you notice that you have way too little influence or power and you want more. So yes, I have bought some steem to have a little more power than the average user :-)
