Genesis of Dan A.K.A Bytemaster / DanTheMan; Stamps his intentions during the age of Satoshi
Bitcoin: "It needs to be as fast as swiping a credit card is today"... how about 3 seconds and payment in BitUSD :) - nice work Dan!
How do i know Dan is here for the long term? if he wasn't he would have moved on already! it's been 6 years and his drive for Life, Liberty and Freedom for all is more alive today than ever; I think we are so close he can taste it.
Dan has lived crypto currencies for a decent portion of his life; which is almost the whole time that bitcoin has been in existence. His post on Bitcointalk date back to 27th July 2010; at which time he had multiple conversations with Satoshi and Gavin and many other prominent stars of bitcoin.
Dan's Genesis post: <3
Conversation's with Satoshi!:
On Dan's 2nd day he was already speaking with Satoshi

5 Day's later he was already well versed and commenting on code! (presumably he had been down the rabbit hole and not slept a wink )

Conversation with Gavin:
These posts are just and example and there are many more hidden within Bitcointalk; and if anyone knows of there whereabouts it would be good to record them so please feel free to comment with a link.
These post's as well as the community surround Dan is my main reason to get into PTS / BitsharesX which has now been revolutionised and simply known as Bitshares! and not to forget the Steem project.
TL;DR - Dan has been around nearly as long as Satoshi and his projects are in safe, competent and passionate hands.
Love Dan's comment to Gavin "Wow, ok this needs to go"! (obviously had a good handle on the project within his first 5 days on the site) comment refer's to a rule that increased the minimum fee to 0.01 BTC if any outputs within the transaction are less than 0.01 BTC; seems very restrictive in today's standards - that's a $4+ USD fee!
Inspiring!
Interesting, the account of satoshi loses the BTC badge in august.
Wow
I researched some of Dan's early posts on the Bitcointalk forum for The BitShares Saga book series I was working on just before graphene was released, but became overwhelmed with the rapid pace of the project's evolution and the amount of time it was going to take me to distill the info I needed from reading code and lack of strong connection to dev team.
I still have that raw research and all of the earlier "Bytemaster's Blog" he published from the start. It's a big body of info worthy of a "BitShares Saga" book series, but I'm too entrenched in the witness role to undertake that now, and Dan moves way faster than I can keep up with. But how fitting is that title, with BitShares, Steem and now EOS?
Don't get me wrong, Dan & team were not unknown to me & I could have reached out to them to get some answers, but I am not at their skill level and I would have been a burden on them. And why would I want to slow them down?
