Beginner Web Design. What is Web Design

Basically Web design is divided into Front End and Back End.

Back End is often classified as Web programming rather than web design. But to be a good professional is great to know both. The best thing is to know how to design and at the same time know how to program.
What are your thoughts when you here the word CODE?
Do you start to have a dizzy?Do you imagine a bunch of lines that you really have to wrap your head around and have to staff more and more coding in order to create a good product?
That's not how web design works. In web design there are many many languages but it all starts with a basics. So for a Front End they are HTML, CSS, JavaScript and for the Back End is PHP. Of course, there are tones more of other languages but these are the basic ones that every single web designer needs to know. Web design works with all of them to create a fully operational web site. For example,
HTML - Base template ( it contains a listing of all elements that are going to be on a page and with that you move to )
CSS - Styling ( which styles your pages f.e. makes the text red)
Java script - Functionality ( if you want that something pops out from the screen)
PHP - Server-Side Scripts ( it can validate your forms, it can store in database, so it's a backbone of your website)
