Powering Up! 1000 Steem Power Per Month - 1. Milestone Reached at 4k SP!
Steem is the future, that´s what I believe and what makes me accumulate more and more Steem Power every single day. The Goal is to become a Dolphin before the masses arrive and the price of steem explodes to double or triple digits. (In case you don’t think that this will happen, then I recommend you to check out the blog of @taskmaster4450 😉 )
Now some might ask, why Power Up all those sweet steem rather than to keep them liquid to sell them right away as soon as we hit higher values? Well the answer is you don´t just get a more valuable vote but as well more steem through curation over time, so it´s a total win in case you believe in the future of steem as much as I do.
About 2 weeks ago I´ve actually published my personal Power Up Plan in order to set myself some challenging but still achievable goals on my way to become a Dolphin with some natural 10.000 Steem Power to upvote you!
As you can see my Goal for January was to reach a total of 4.000 Steem Power, which I just cracked on time as we approach the end of the month. Nonetheless February is approaching fast and another 1000 Steem are to be powered up over 28 days to reach the next Milestone. Fortunately SBD is still keeping a high value, so that I can get more for a good ratio

I applaud your dedication to steemit. Are you investing your own money to reach these goals or are you powering up your rewards?
Both, I try to use my rewards first though to power up.
I am sure that it will happen. Thats exactly what happened to our old Steemians and will happen to us one day :)
It is really good to have a power up plan and can follow it. I do everything randomly and try my best to achieve my goal.

I started it randomly as well but over time I got more and more a huge believer into this platform and the overall success of steem. That´s why I made the decision to power up regularly and to aim for fixed goals to make sure I reach them :)
Powering up more than 1000 SP per month is a huge amount. I hope you´ll be able to reach your final goal of 10k SP sooner than expected :)
I finally reached 1000 so at the beginning of the month. My goal for February will be 1250 but hopefully I can shatter that and reach 1500 or higher!
I’m also planning on becoming a dolphin as I realized the easiest way to pay it forward and to encourage a fair distribution of wealth is to become a juicy dolphin myself.

Congratulations on cracking the 1.000 SP :) That´s just the first milestone on the way to a Dolphin but a very big one and I´m positive that you´ll get more than 1250 SP done until the end of February! Keep Steeming :)

i joined in early december and i have almost have 700 sp.
it's also my goal to have many more sp before "the masses" arrive ! :)
while 1000k sp seems like too steep a goal for me per month, i am powering up 80% of my earnings as i believe in this and want the SP to show for it! i want strong upvotes too! xD
That's an amazing amount of SP to Earn in a couple of months @mountainjewel. What's your secret? I haven't even made it to 100 yet despite posting everyday, commenting and replying and winning some competitions. I'm also powering up as, like you I want strong upvotes.
Sounds like you’re doing my secret! I’m also a part of groups that fit my liftstyle. #homesteading and #ecotrain. Finding community here is essential.
I think homesteading is a really strong group from what I've seen but, sadly, it's not something I know anything about. Has all your SP come naturally?

And I just checked your blog- you have gorgeous photos. It’s probably just a matter of time for you. Keep trying to get exposure through contests and networking. You could also try making vids for dtube when you go on your walks. #walkwithme is also a dag to try on your walks (read through a few to get the gist :) good luck!
Thanks. I have dtube on my list of things to get my head around and am familiar with #walkwithme. I could probably do some quite interesting ones locally. I actually live in the UK and have made a few contacts here. Sounds like I'm on the right track just slower than you. Not that I'm comparing (she lied)! 😁

@steembusiness I really like your thinking and the more I here this the more I think I should do similar. STEEM will go much higher and it will catch people by surprise.
Steem is a project with huge potential and whenever the automatic signup will open people will flood this platform very very fast.

Like you powering up every penny so I can vote more, so I can power up more so i can vote more......I think I am stuck in a mobius strip, I know nothing about crypto market, and right now don't really care to much about it, but I am having fun powering up and getting to vote on more and more content.
Steem Power is an awesome tool to make other happy while gaining more money through curation over time. I couldn´t think of any better investment right now.
I am just glad that I found and learned to use steemworld manual vote slider, else I would not be able to vote even 1/3 of what I have been voting lately. To many projects, so many to help and boost. But it is what it is - - - FUN
As a new member this is interesting, I'll try to save all my SP to keep growing!
You´ll be amazed how much fun it is to curate others content while seeing your SP stake going up further over time through curation :)
Are you trying to reach these goals mostly with content or with investing/buying SP? Because gaining that much Steem reliably every every month seems pretty hard.

It´s not going to be easy but I´ve always been a fan of ambitious goals. They just make we work harder over time. To answer your question it´s both but I try to use my rewards first of course.
