RE: [steem蟲:혜택] 봄과 스팀을 함께 2배로 즐기다. (enjoy Spring and Steem 2fold )

yes, 3 sbd can be a big money, or a small money, depending on the situatoin.

Here in Korea, according to current exchange rate,

3 sbd can buy 10 ramyons (instant noodle) for self cook of quite satisfactory 10 meals (3 days and 1 more meals !!),
2 brief serviced meals from ordinary brief public restaurant,
or 1 relatively formal serviced meal from normal public restaurant.

And 3 sbd can be quite short for a cup of serviced coffee in some expensive coffee shop.

I guess that high general income or GDP means high living costs.

Here in Seoul, land price and living costs (everyday life price) are twice different just between 2 adjacent villages of 2 kilometers apart, separated by one main road.

Yes, 3 sbd can be a great (or little) amount of money, depending on your situation.

According to the current exchange rate here in Korea, 3 sbd will buy either:

Ten packets of ramyon (instant noodles), i.e. ten self-cooked, quite satisfying meals for three days plus an extra;

Two light meals, including service, from cafeteria-like restaurants;

or, one relatively formal meal, including service, from an ordinary restaurant.

On the other hand 3 sbd may not be enough for a cup of coffee, with service, at some expensive coffee shop.

I guess a high general income, or GDP, means high living costs.

Here in Seoul, the real estate pricing and costs of living on an everyday level may be twice as high in one village than another just 2 kms apart, separated by a single main road.

Thank you very much. @jamieinthedark.
My English is just words packed into grammar.
Your expression is smooth, I feel.
I will try to read your expressions with time.

By the way, what is the [-] mark?
Is it something in steem grammar or markdown expression ?

You're welcome!

[-] is just something that tagged along when I copied and pasted your original comment. Never noticed it.

Never noticed it. <-- I don't understand this meaning at this context. Would you please kindly explain about this?

I don't understand what it means in this context. Would you explain this, please?

Oh, the subject in that sentence is simply omitted. I meant "I never noticed it".

When speaking to someone in a relatively informal way, you may omit the 'I', and sometimes even 'You'.

e.g. Can you say that more clearly? ( I ) Never could understand you when you mumble.
e.g. 2. (Are you) Going to work today? ( I ) Thought it was your day off.

Thank you.

I found that [-] was copied from the [-] after flag menu (down voting menu).

No intended meaning at your that comment.
Now I understand the situation.

after flag menu
next to the flag

your that comment
your comment there
or
that comment of yours

very good point.

I always wondered how to express this one.

your that comment
your comment there,
that comment of yours.

next to the flag is also very important.
I knew that expression, but never tried to use it but always thought "after the flag"

Bye the way, I changed my personal policy of voting.
Not to wait for my steem power to recover in order to vote something valuable.
It was too brain consuming and I may lose the chance of voting due to the 7-day limit.

So please understand that I will vote with my own judgement at the very voting time considering the probable number of things to vote and the power and recovery only at that voting time.

I may not vote fully as before though I appreciate fully.

Yep, in order to modify or correct something, I always have it copied first and work from there.
