On the other hand, buying Steem when your Bitcoin is worth less is not a sound financial decision. Better to wait until the Bitcoin price rebounds (which it will) and buy more Steem when the price is lower relative to Bitcoin.
STEEM is still to young and isn't uncoupled from the price of BTC just yet. BTC's tanking also tanks the overall marketcap of STEEM.
