Attention Registered U.S. Voters: Go Vote

BTCC Exchange

The major exchange BTCC is holding a vote for which cryptocurrency to add. This is the final round of voting. There are 4 remaining currencies left, Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Steem (STEEM), and Monero (XMR).

Last night when I voted Steem was slightly behind Monero, when I went back just to look a few hours later Steem was again ahead of Monero, however, ETC had received nearly 47% of the votes at that point.

Let's take Steem to the top, I would say take Steem to the moon, but for me that feels to much like a self limiting statement, how far it will go. Right now there have been fewer than 50k votes and ETC is leading the way with 45% Steem has a ways to go, but I do think Steem can out do ETC. Steem is currently at 24% Doge is slightly behind with Monero in last place.

Just a quick look at Steemd.com there are 168,641 accounts on SteemIt. If everyone of these users will get out and vote, or encourage friends to vote, I do not think there will be a chance for ETC to win.
As a community let's encourage others to vote for Steem. This is not only a way to show your support for SteemIt, it's also a great way to increase the market cap.

Since I started here on SteemIt back in November, Steem and Doge have been steadily flipping back and forth of which coin has a larger market cap. Right now Doge is ahead by a fair amount.

If we could encourage people to vote, this could put Steem back on top of Dogecoin. I propose the idea to get everyone here to have friends, family and anyone else they can get to vote for Steem here

Just take a look at the community we have here, one way this community will both grow it's user base and it's value is by getting listed on various exchanges.

Right now according to CoinMarketCap.com Steem is currently listed on several exchanges, and has 18 trading pairs. Where Steem Dollar (SBD) is listed on fewer exchanges with fewer trading pairs. On the other hand Dogecoin has 300 trading pairs between the exchanges it has been listed with.

With SteemIt having so many users, why are we not out there making our voices heard. Let's all vote for Steem, in the long run you will see it add value to the price of Steem. Just look how far Steem has gone, back in January Steem was between $0.10 and $0.16 not even 4 months later and look where Steem price is at close to $1.30, not to mention SBD is close to $2 right now up from $1 in January.

Let's do our part, let's support each other and "Turn out the vote, in support of Steem!"

Whether your here just posting comments, which are also receiving payouts or your here to create content by posting we are all here together. Therefore we should all take this chance to improve our positions and get Steem listed at BTCC.

Have you voted yet?

I am pleased to say my vote here pushed you well over the $1 mark LOL - I like being able to help people with more than a 5¢ vote these days.

I have been writing a blog on this every single day for the last few days on this issue and tweeting daily also.

I will likely do my next one tonite, it is many hours of breathing room btw yours and mine by then.

You make a lot of good points here man.

Still hard to believe Monero people are so slack on this, for such a vocal (small?) group of people and considering the gains for all the coins you mentioned lately.

Have a good nite man. I am glad you are back.

But you told me to get off the computer to vote. The vote is on Twitter; I need a computer to access the vote. # headexplosion

Nice one, I used a free image of the internet. Thought it would be cool, your the first to comment about needing a computer to vote, well you could use a smart phone!

I could, but smartphones are also computers

LOL, this is true. Guess using Google search on images to use made for a great story but wrong idea!
