Freewallet will no longer support Steem
Freewallet, a provider of cryptocurrency wallets has announced that they are going to stop supporting Steem, in a Medium post, on April 1st, 2018. They will remove their Steem Wallet app from the Apple App Store, and Google Play, and drop support from their web client, and desktop app.
According to Freewallet, this change is because they had difficulty interacting with the Steem blockchain, causing downtime. During this downtime, users were unable to interact with their Steem stored in Freewallet wallets. They had downtime multiple times, with one such instance of downtime happening soon after the delisting announcement.
Because withdrawals will be disabled on April 1st, make sure that you either transfer your Steem balance on Freewallet to another Steem account, or an exchange.
