Disabling Withdrawals to 3rd Accounts (Only enabled with manual verification)
We've decided to disable withdrawals to 3rd accounts by default, due to some users sharing / leaking their private keys and other users withdrawing their smartsteem funds.
We use steemconnect to verify the identitiy of steem-accounts and steemconnect requires either the private memo-key, private posting-key or password.
Now, we will allow withdrawals to other accounts only to manually verified accounts - which means:
If you want to withdraw to 3rd accounts, your smartsteem account has to be enabled for that.

wow this is really unfortunate. Hope you were able to take control of the situation and also verify that your system itself is not compromised.
I'm just starting out here so I'll be sticking around for a bit. But this is a good move to prevent similar acts in the future.
