Steem & Bitcoin Are On Sale! Plus 2 Trading Books You Should Be Reading
The price of STEEM has been dropping since the huge spike in the markets in May & June and recently we saw a drop below $1.
I have been on this wild ride since the Steem blockchain was introduced in 2016. And like all tradable assets the price fluctuates and there are times to buy and times to sell.
I have high hopes for Steemit and I think the value brought to the world via this blockchain is immense, almost unimaginable.
Some of the smartest people I have ever met are pro Steemit. I think this bodes well for the platform and its future.
STEEM On Sale
I have seen $4 STEEM, 10 cent STEEM, and everything inbetween. I would easily call the current price a sale.

Bitcoin On Sale
From coinmarketcap.com:
I expect a good bit of volatility around BTC heading into and right after the Bitcoin Improvement Proposal 148. The user activated soft fork (UASF) will occur on August 1st of this year.

My father has been trading the markets since before I was born. When I became interested in trading he gave me these two books, which I use frequently to stay on my game and remind myself of what strategies are important. I have included PDF links for free downloads/ reading and also the physical books on Amazon.

Posting On Steemit
If you don't have funds to spend on crypto investments, blogging on Steemit while the price is low is a great buy in strategy. You will get more STEEM for your content.
My most profitable post was placed on the blockchain in Feb of this year. I only earned about $86 on the post but I got paid with STEEM close to 14 cents, equating to over 600 STEEM for the post.
See what I mean?
I will be upping the frequency of my posts due to the price drop. You might want to as well.
* I designed the Steemit shirt myself and sell them on bitcoinshirtz.com also via @bitcoinshirtz - Steem & BTC accepted.

I really think Steem is one of the most stable coins these days :D
Can't say that it's the most stable, as it really relies much on the community. And you know how emotional people can get. We're looking at a Social Media platform, where growth comes organically and it's powered by the users, unlike Ethereum where it's a technology platform that tech giants jump on to develop products. I do however think it's undervalued.
i have been loading up
great info! thanks for sharing dude
I like your post very much @slickwilly ! You have my full support and actually got yourself a new follower. I posted almost the same article - STEEM SUMMER SALE on my blog. I have also been buying as much as I can, both STEEM and Bitshares which I think also have a great potential to go up, especially since BTS has a way larger market cap compared to STEEM. Powered up my account by about 300 STEEM in the last week alone.
I like your post very much @slickwilly !
I too have been planning on buying, I might wait a little bit longer to stock up.
