The 'problem' we face be impossible to resolve under the present system, the power to upvote or flag given to whales that hold much STEEM POWER is the major thing that gives STEEM value, the only non-speculative use for Steem is to power up and be able to prejudice how much steem-coins other Steemers earn. I think this point is also the most significiant distinguishing mark of a Blockchain based social media.
