I spoke out about this months ago and exposed some pretty major players on Steemit (https://steemit.com/steemit/@sigmundnash/exposing-steemit-voting-collusion-6-potential-voting-rings-found). But perhaps not surprisingly, I was met with ridicule and was shunned from the community. The problem with Steemit and its blockchain implementation is that, perhaps it models real world interactions a little too well. Power and corruption are all too prevalent in societies dating back to the Roman era - I guess it is just part and parcel. One thing we can look at is having more transparency and the welcoming of those asking questions, particularly when it comes to patterns on the Steemit blockchain!
