I am not sure I understand all of what you said, but one thing resonates with me;
ownership is the only way to insure stability
I believe that regardless of what you do, being employed is rarely the path to wealth or abundance. And although there are exceptions like sports stars or CEOs of corporations, the great majority of wealth comes from ownership of income producing assets.
While Steem is just one example here it is an income producing asset. Now and probably in the future.
I also think your right about scaling of newcomers to Steem in the Tribes. There are more Tokens then there is Steem and I think one day that will be one driver of value both ways.
I think that whether Steem is the vehicle of success or not, nothing you do for your brain is ever wasted. The knowledge we learn here can serve us well elsewhere.

I agree with this and what I personally have found is that there is value in what I have learned and thought about here that I can leverage in various ways in my IRL world.
