30 000+ posts a DAY!
Have you taken a look at the amount of posts rolling in lately?
Just posts, not comments?
I am playing around with something and working through the posts, I have summarised how many posts I have parsed for the last few days, today's is lower because it's not over yet...

I am sure other people have mentioned this, but I have not read it because there is too much other stuff to actually find their posts!
This is coming off of a discussion in a channel on https://steemit.chat where it was suggested that the bandwidth requirement for posting is too low. I agree.
Apparently the bandwidth requirements are not based on operation type, but rather on is a flat rate based on bytes of the transaction.
I would think it would be worth making posts require more bandwidth, so as to prevent users with very little 'skin in the game' from flooding the blockchain with spam.
I am not saying all posts are spam, but am alluding to the fact that this is ripe for abuse, would you not agree?
