I would say they are especially the ones who are developing stuff on their own like Dtube and Zappl. Those apps are not tied to steemit (as far as I know). Just entrepreneurs who saw an opportunity and are trying to capitalize on it.
I’m just hoping someone makes a viable alternative to eBay. I’m tired of eBay and PayPal screwing the world with their fees.
