Nice post, good analysis and valid points. I agree with you, Steemit should try to take advantage of those "vacuums" in Facebook's structure and build his force on them.

Some are already there (the wallet, for example), some would benefit Steemit A LOT (the rewards for quality content, above all).

Hopefully the big ones listen to you on this, @inboundinken :)
