The Recent Hard Fork Might Be Price Negative in the Short Term
It occurs to me that wider distribution of Steem (while undoubtedly good) may be price negatives for a few weeks after the hard fork. Larger amounts of Steem are likely being awarded to "weaker hands", people who need the money and are therefore more likely to cash in than hold.
Agree or disagree?
Either way, I'm liking the changes so far.
My son is 12 and in his glory. He says he is powering up everything coming his way and so am I. Not a big account, but hope to get bigger, soon!
Wow, thank you so much! Good luck to you!
This can't be right. The market is being absolutely flooded if these numbers are to be believed. I'm waiting until the feeding frenzy subsides and we hear some proper news from ned or the top witnesses.
I think that's certainly a possibility and mentioned it in my last post. It will be interesting to watch, for sure. At the same time, with more people getting "real money" for their social media posts, it's quite possible more users could flood into the system as they tell their story.
Like your way of thinking @sean-king . I myself dont know much about the steem updates, but this recent one surprised me a bit. Hope i hear more about the recent update. So here you go with a follow and an upvote m8.
I was thinking about that one hour ago. I think happen after 7 days past.
Long term bad, short term good, short term bad, long term good. Either way you can capitalize and make money and steem! Use this time of change as an advantage!
my account is small but this fork help me go from 0 cents to 3 cents right away.
Good point! I agree with you. I think its already starting to fall!
Bitcoin is moving up today. I think thats why we see dips in other altcoins
true!
yea I think you are right. But I think the changes will be positive for a longer period of time!
Well personally I disagree I think this can bring in more people into the steem community overall. My steem power is pretty weak right now since im waiting for my bank to clear, but I don't think theres that much to cash out. People might be see this as a opportunity to grow their channel since the small rewards provide consistent dopamine. Just my thoughts tho
