My Self-Voting Policy
I've decided to be transparent about how/when I plan to vote for my own posts and comments and those of my dear @steemed-open. So, here's the deal:
Because I'm enamored with her and most everything she says or does, I will upvote essentially all of @steemed-open's posts with maximum weight, BUT I generally won't do so in the first 24 hours. This will give others time to vote in advance of me and thereby earn higher curation awards.
I will upvote about one-half to two-thirds of my own posts with maximum weight, BUT I also generally won't do so in the first 24 hours. Again, this gives others a chance to vote ahead of me and earn higher curation awards.
I will occasionally upvote my own comments on my posts or other people's posts but usually only with sufficient weight to move that comment to the top of the comment section where it will be more quickly seen by others. I will particularly do this when my comment corrects some misstatement or misrepresentation in the post or in a prior comment (since its important that corrections not be buried in a long thread).
I hope this helps clarify my self-voting strategy and that everyone finds it acceptable.
Best,
Sean
you dont have to even clarify, use your money the way you want.
thats freedom and decentralization. people tend to forget that and try to make others do as they please with their voting power.
Very good point.
good answer

Please stop downvoting other's post below zero, Posts that cites their sources.
Voting's primary use is to sort out content, not to pay posters, no need to bring them below 0.
You downvoting memes like this is a whole other level. https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@michaellamden68/crypto-wizards
The source is not need because it's embedded in the picture itself.
My down voting has nothing to do with whether or not the source was cited. It has to do with whether or not the poster of the material had the owner's permission to use it. Using other people's copyrighted material without their permission is still improper even if the source is cited.
Additionally, it has to do with the fact that the material is on unoriginal.
I want to thank you for the vote you just gave me on my post. I am so happy with it, and the fact you liked my post because I find your wife very inspirational and it was only since I spoke to her, that I spoke of MYSELF more freely. and I really mean that.
now, I hope both of you have a good day:)
My pleasure. Keep it up. And thanks for your kind words about her. Means more than you can know,.
I hope she remains here for a long time to come! I love her posts!
No problem it's all true.
and thank you :]
Personally I think people who invest so much time and money in Steem and show how they believe in it really shouldn't be judged because they vote themselves occasionally.
It's cool that you are so honest about it and great if you still curate other posts to improve the whole quality of this network.
I agree and appreciated your perspective, @vandaze. Upvoting yourself is like giving yourself a high-five. :)
I knew there was a reason I was following you. Your very fair-minded in allowing others the first crack at earnings before voting. It's sort of like a dinner party and all the guests are invited to serve themselves first, while the host waits patiently to serve their plate last. Your a good dude...
thanks for being transparent and helping the community
I respect your approach. My son is on Steemit and I love him and he works hard to post great content. I will always up-vote him. My vote means little at this point, but I think the voting strategy you have described is a very good model of balance between benefiting the Steemit community and rewarding yourself for your investment. Thanks for sharing it.
Hey Sean - I'm feelin' your strategy and taking some notes. It's got strategy, common sense, and some generosity involved. A good mix. Today marks my first week on here and I need all the help I can get but also enjoying the ride. Kudos buddy!
Lol, I think we cannot saying no for your choice, as it is your account. But to be honest, I don't mind it, as you are in love with her, and what you do in the name of love is all acceptable (except illegal activities of course XD). And actually I like @steemed-open, just do it!
I'm pretty much googly eyed enamored with everything You say and do as well. 🙏🏽😍
This post is so well done and reflective of who You are. Clear, brilliant, fair, and generous. Of course, right? Because how one does anything is how one does everything…
Couldn't make myself wait 24 hours…Upvoted 100% here 😘
