As we are at the beginning of process, rates USD->STEEM can be slightly high, to prevent the high demand and cover chargebacks and other fraud payments, while we are tuning the process. Further rates will go down. But anyway, I think it's a nice option to buy STEEM/SBD instantly with credit/debit card, isn't it? And you can always buy/sell STEEM for BTC on Changelly for the most profitable rates on the market.

Sure. For some the convenience would be the important feature. For others it's getting the cheapest rate. It depends on what people are looking for. It not for me. I'm a poor bastard who has to watch every penny I spend.

Offer them competition if you think they are profiting too much.
What is your point? that people shouldn't point out a manifestly bad deal unless theyre willing to start their own business to offer a better one.
This site is a rip-off, designed to fleece unwary or ignorant consumers. Its as simple as that.
There are already more competitive options for fiat to crypto conversions. Not all are as convenient as the above option, but the price is better. It depends what people are looking for.
Cex.io has offered debit/mastercard purchases for quite some time. I didn't use it cause for 20€ purchase they took 1.50€ fee, and no I won't use a service where bitcoin costs 30% more than the average price of it right now.
Watch the pennies and the pounds look after themselves, I think someone said, once upon a time. :-)

Yes. I noticed that and found it strange.. Maybe they are willing to take losses on the margin on the altcoins for bigger margins and higher volumes on BTC.
I just think they are making a fair profit. They are based in India so the BTC price is actually fair also. India BTC prices are highhhhh.

Its the same "business model" like Mycelium where you can buy btc by credit card for insane prices...this works against mass adoption

Unfortunately, mass adaptation is inhibited by government regulators, not by exchanges. Our goal is to simplify buying process for you.
