If it really bothers you, use ublock to block the element. just right click on it and select block element or paste the below and hit "create"
This will remove the value but not the upvote button

###content > .App > .App__content > .Post > .row:nth-of-type(1) > .column > .hentry.PostFull > .align-middle.row.PostFull__footer > .column:nth-of-type(1) > .Voting > .Voting__inner > .DropdownMenu

Do the same process for the frontpage

    thanks. it really does bug me. it's more of a subconscious level. Can't really articulate why.
