❗️STEEMIT PHISHING SCAM WARNING ❗️
(Yet Another) warning of scam: There's a new scammer in town: @willpop will comment your post with a link to a clone of steemit.comwhich is: steemil.com.
It is hidden behind a bitly (url shortener) link so it's less obvious. It probably tries to steal your active keys.
Pay attention to external links
- If you see such comments mark them as scam with another comment to let other users know!!!
- Don't click the link!!!
- If you entered any data (private keys), try to change your steem password immediately
- Change it anyway if you just clicked the link. Better safe than sorry!!!
- External links will be shown with a
external sourceicon on steemit.com. Check always!!!:
Thanks for the heads up @sarasate. People are always trying to get what you've worked so hard to acquire. It's very important to stay vigilant. This post will help a lot of unsuspecting people start being cautious.
