Everyone is getting crazy #19
Its kinda funny how excited many people, esp. minnows, are about HF19. It feels like a gold rush, money flowing in from everywhere. Couldn't resist to comment on it since I saw so many posts already celebrating a bright future.
To be honest I was surprised too of that rise in rewards on a few recent posts, some more than 300%. Where is the champagne?!
But please cool down a bit. Most of that effect happened on already published post which are not paid out yet. People already voted on them. Since there is a major change in your daily voting power, curators will rethink their voting strategy and vote more carefully. I won't get into detail about it, there is already plenty of stuff to read about HF19.
I just can image that there will be less votes due to it.. which means less reward again..
Only time will tell how this Fork really changes the outcome for all of us. Its just too early to say.
Keep the champagne in the fridge for now. And try to keep steem growing and providing useful content..

Totally agree man! The most valuable posts will be those where people used high powered upvotes in the past. Now that people realize the power and the limitations they'll act more conservatively. However it was nice seeing a $94 go to $232. Cheer mate!
Thats what I expect. But yeah, was a nice push in this moment. A cheap bottle of champagne is affordable now ;)

Thank you for sharing this insightful information. I really agree with you there on keeping our cool and keeping on posting useful content as we have done before. This post i believe should be shared across the whole platform to help remind many who are seriously jubilating the true purpose of this platform.
Meh, I vote we drink the champagne, then put in some more hard work so we can buy ourselves better champagne for future celebrations !
