Fake news and steemit

We all know the bad impacts of fake news.How it is being used to manipulate customers and users for political and economic benefits.

Facebook introduced news feeds which is one of major factor to attracting and retaining users in late 2000s. We all know the insuffient algorithm and checking in news feeds helps spread fake news. They have come with new filtering and now flags fake news.But still far from perfect.

Steemit, per say donot have news feeds kind of mechanism but I think it can be developed on top the block chain.With STEEM economy we should be able to provide an incentive based news feeds curated by users...compare this to the content discovery by facebook which uses popularity weblinks,likes and upvotes alone. This algorithm s far from correct because bots and fake news provide and skew the result. I think
