I agree. That's why I try to save my upvotes for accounts that get less that $10 per post. I never upvote anything trending.

Why not just upvote good content?
I can only upvote so many posts a day. If I have to choose (and I do) I would give my limited upvotes to the good content that I feel is underappreciated. They need my upvote more than good content that is trending.
