Identify Potential contents and try to make your living on the smalls. The "New" section is your place to be. Separate the content you can benefit from those that will waste your time. And don’t take any chances if you’re uncertain but follow the women; you can always count on them.
Navigate by Day. Don't waste nights sleepless at all. You have a long day ahead of you tomorrow.
Follow the herd & maximize your visibility . It’s not about quality , it’s about 15 seconds of attention; that’s about all you’ve got when you feel schools of dolphins & whales and are out of sight. You can talk quantum next year.
Navigate by night and use this time to reflect some quality content early.

Great advice! Hopefully more people take the time to implement what you said instead of complaining the system is rigged or that they can't get votes.
