Keeping up with the new stuff on the Steem blockchain

I don't know about you, fellow Steemians, but since a week or two, there is so much going on the blockchain. It's almost a day job to follow all developments. Nevertheless, it is so buzzing lately, can't wait for all the new inventions being build on the blockchain!

A brief list of developments

The developments that I find extremely interesting:

• SMT Smart Media Tokens (invented by Steemit Inc.)
  A way for third parties to monetize their online experience, based on the Steem blockchain
• busy.org
  An alternative (steemit like) way to post content on top of the Steem blockchain.
• ZAPPL
  They should release their first version of the app within a few days. It is a Twitter like experience, of course also on the Steem blockchain
• Appics
  The first (so they say) Smart Media Token on the Steem blockchain. Also a great new experience, for what I can see, between Twitter and Instagram like app. Looking forward using this app!
• vice.org
  This one will be disrupting the settled adult content business in viewing online content. They want to reward every contributor, creator and so on. So instead of letting everyone who's watching content pay for it, everyone will be rewarded! How cool!

The future is not a paved way but it surely is an interesting future with all development and innovation going on!
