What the hell is this!? 

That's probably what most of you are thinking right now - why are we watching RuinYourDay on this weird looking site - we like YouTube!?

Well - the fact is, that as content creators - a lot of us like it less and less!

We're the ones spending hours and hours, creating content that they "let us" monetize, only to "steal" 75% of the money we generate from ad-views and so on. 

Even for a superchat  - which should in theory be a 100% tip to us - YouTube keeps  more than you would  imagine!

But now, we're starting to find solutions to these problems and you're watching this video on one of them RIGHT now.

Just imagine, watching your favourite battlerappers, and actually get paid for doing it...
Sounds to good to be true right?

Well... it isn't!

Thanks to new platforms like this one, D.tube and D.live to name a few - we no longer need Google, Facebook, Vimeo and whoever else, snatching more than half  of the value that WE create for them and they let you consume in exchange for your privacy and throwing an advert in your face.

So how does it  work!?

To put it simply - every upvote on SteemIt gives us a small reward in digital currency... and a small reward to you, for curating the content and adding value to the site by using it.

The deeper technical explanation of how it all works, we won't get into right now... partly because it's a bit complicated, and mostly because all we needed to know is - DOES it work!?
