MINING POOL	payments are made using a series of ious, and the network is based on trust relationships. the network consists of payment nodes and gateways operated by authorities. is a payment network built on distributed ledgers that can be used to transfer any currency.
SIDECHAIN	these can have their own unique features and can have bitcoins sent to and from them. these are theoretical, independent blockchains which are “two way pegged” to the bitcoin blockchain.
CONSENSUS	a way to allows the rewards to be distributed more consistently between participants in the pool. a group of miners who have decided to combine their computing power for mining.
RIPPLE	the consensus is achieved by ensuring that the ledgers are exact copies of each other and all participants of the network agree on the validity of the transactions.
