not really, one thing I notice about cryptocurrency is the first crypto to introduce a new feature usually stays way ahead of others who adopt that same feature after, but it does mean that steem blockchain users wont need to go to those coins for privacy, and steem onboards new users who have never been in crypto before, so this will secure those users from needing to use another coin for this feature
