STEEM and Steem Dollar
Okay I have been doing research and I have found conflicting answers.
So here are my questions to the STEEMIT community.
I have read that Steem dollars were supposed to be just internally on the ecosystem and were intended to be bought solely with STEEM was this true? if so when and why are they available on the exchange?
Is the STEEM dollar supposed to pegged to a dollar value?
as STEEM and STEEM dollar fluctuate against eachother what does that mean for the steemit ecosystem?
It says, "Tokens worth about $1.00 of STEEM", mean while both are available on BITTREX and at the time of writing STEEM dollars are nearly 7x the price of steem?
Why would i use steem to buy steem dollars when I can just buy steem dollars?
To me it seems like steem was a fund raiser and the ecosystem can work with steem power as a Proof of Stake system and steem dollars as a internal currency.
Did STEEM investors get duped. have i been duped?
