Steem Total Value Powered Up - $75 million - August 20, 2021
This is next in my series of posts reviewing the amount and value of powered up STEEM on the Steem blockchain. For previous posts, see the end of this entry.
Noteworthy this week, we have new highs in terms of powered up STEEM tokens as well as percentage of market cap. Powered-up STEEM has seen new highs for 37 consecutive days and increased by about 2 million in the last 7 days. In comparison to the other tokens that I'm tracking, there has been very little change from last Friday until tonight.
Here are the numbers as-of a few minutes ago:

37 consecutive new highs after July 14 with an increase of about 2 million this week.

Up by about $3 million against last week's afternoon download, but basically unchanged from last Friday evening..
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of tron (TRX)
Still running flat in the 800 million to 1 billion channel.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Steem Dollars
Up slightly from last week.
Value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap
27 consecutive days above 1/3 and 7 consecutive days above 34%. Still trending up, with today's new high at 34.42%.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of bitcoin (BTC)
Basically flat against BTC since last Friday.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of ethereum
Down just a hair against ETH.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of litecoin
Up a touch against LTC during the last seven days.

It is good that these values are maintained on the rise, since it transmits confidence, and this confidence in turn drives new highs.
Thanks for the comment. I agree that this powering-up is a reflection of confidence in the blockchain. Hopefully, you are right that it will be reflected in prices.
It's really a good news for us waiting to see STEEM at $1 again.
I think Steem will hit $1 sooner than we thought if the trends continue in such an upwards fashion.
Due to some temporary price reduction, The Value Powered Up has increased by only $1 million in the current week compared to last week. Hopefully next week it will be $80 million+😊
I will powered up some steem after sometime, it is a god habit.
