I totally believe we are entering the age of abundance... and, in a sense, not a moment too soon. Let's face it, with robotics and automation, "jobs" as we used to think of them are simply going to vanish... but we're still going to need to "buy" things like housing, Internet and food. It has to come from somewhere...
I think we are getting well on our way!

The nice thing is that it looks like things such as housing and food will come down in price as technology invades those areas. 3D printing is seriously going to affect construction of homes, sending the prices down. At the same time, I see vertical farming and stem cell production as interesting pursuits in the food realm.
Why grow the entire cow when you can just grow the meat?
