How long will it take Steem to surpass Bitshares in registered accounts?

in #steem8 years ago

I just registered my account yesterday on Bitshares and I am apparently 153,335. Bitshares has been around a bit longer then Steem but we are quickly overtaking the technology which might be considered as our immediate ancestor. As of this time there are 127,775 accounts on Steem.

Stop , this endeavour of yours completely ignores some very fundamental rules of this system and I completely disagree with your perspective.

Both BitShares and Steem had a bit of name squatting going on. I suspect we already have far more real users than BTS.

Based on account signup rate I would say 3 to 6 months (max).

It is possible that we do have more real users now, I guess a good metric would be active users...however does bitshares expose a way to see that data and compare?

Active users on bitshares are less obvious because the need to transfer just isn't there. I would say measure accounts with balances above $10 would be a good filter on both platforms.

Fair enough. Thanks for the reply Dan.
