Rose Namajunas is once again the strawweight champion after crushing against Zhang Weili in the co-main event, before Kamaru Usman defended his welterweight strap with a stunning KO of Jorge Masvidal.

Kamaru Usman flattened Jorge Masvidal early in the second round with the right hand from hell and there was no coming back from there.

Usman dominated the first round then went for the jugular a minute into the second, a monstrous jab knocking Masvidal clean off his feet before jumping in with some hammerfists that forced the ref to jump in and call off the fight.

Masvidal hasn’t lost by KO/TKO since 2008 but that streak was ended in the most violent fashion imaginable by Usman, who shut up his taunting rival in the best possible way.

Masvidal was cocky before the fight but Usman laughed last.

“You said you wanted violence, you’re welcome!” he said. “I know with my fundamentals I am the pound-for-pound best fighter
on the planet right now.
