Maybe incentive has something to do with it. I thought I was addicted to Facebook. I have been posting on Facebook for a decade. Then Steemit came along with the incentive that I got paid for posting and practically doing what I did on Facebook. The decision to quit Facebook was easy. Maybe if some other platform comes along with a higher payout ...... :-)
