A Proof of Stake Design Philosophy

Now, as much as ETHEREUM has lost its sexy (especially now we have arrived lol) and as much as Buterin and the ETHEREUM dev crews have been unfairly tainted by The DAO mess, he is, it is, and they are still very relevant players in the crypto-space and their potential is still great. One thing I love about Vitalik is that he, like our own Dan Latimer, are very clear-headed and fair-minded people, valuing truth above partisan territorial-ism .. always worth paying close attention to.

In the above linked article, if we STEEMIANS read it carefully, you'll see that Mr. Buterin's view of what these new technologies are and can be has expanded, substantially!

Vitalik forgot to mention STEEM in the list above, but I believe STEEM was very in mind when writing this, Bitshares having been mentioned a couple of time ..

Perhaps most of us can not fully appreciate just how revolutionary the STEEM blockchain is, the speed and the way that the entire system is protected and sustained because of the economics that have come 'with' the chain. I believe that some players in the industry, both technical and pundits can not do so either .. but Vitalik is not one of them - there is undoubted respect.

I think we have all that covered! .... dunno! :)

Anyway, it is well worth the read as is everything Vitalik writes, as is most-definitely the case with anything @dantheman does.
